Jan. 8th - "Fayette County Humane Society Night at Partners II Pizza" 6-9pm in Fayetteville at the Publix Shopping Center! Portion of proceeds to benefit the Fayette County Humane Society... Come hungry!
Jan. 10th - "Mend-A-Heart Grief Counseling". Grieving for an animal companion? To help people cope with the death of a pet, the Atlanta Humane Society offers Mend-A-Heart group counseling sessions. These hour-long sessions are held at the Shelter on the second Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the Administrative Area.
Jan. 10th - "Kitty Kindergarten" 10:30AM-12PM. The Humane Society of Hall County is pleased to announce its new program for cat owners, “Kitty Kindergarten.” Humane Society volunteer Lena Turner will offer hour and a half workshops for cat and kitten owners that are just clueless. These workshops are for people only.. A $3 donation for the animals of the Humane Society of Hall County is greatly appreciated for each individual attending. Jan. 27th - "Bunny 101" by the House Rabbit Society of N. Georgia. Calling all new adopters, previous adopters or anyone interested in adopting or learning more about rabbit care! Class that will cover everything from apple branches to white vinegar. This is what you need to know to make living with a house rabbit easy, healthy and fun! Email thebunnylady@bellsouth.net or call 770-992-0235 to reserve your spot! A $5.00 donation for the class covers the cost of handout materials and a healthy treat package for your bunny. Class held at the Baby Vision office: 180 Allen Road Suite 217, Atlanta.
